MilTech RV mobile RV service
What to Expect

Know What Happens Before We Arrive.

From scheduling through diagnosis, authorization, repair, and follow-up, we want you to know what happens next. Clear communication is part of the service.

Your Service Roadmap

From Appointment Request to Follow-Up

Every RV problem is different, but our service process is designed to keep you informed and involved from the beginning.

1

Schedule Your Appointment

Tell us what your RV is doing and where it is located so we can prepare for the service call.

  • RV year, make, and model
  • Service location
  • Description of symptoms
  • Photos or videos when available
  • Fault or error codes
  • Component model/serial numbers when available
2

Prepare Your RV

Make sure the RV and affected equipment are accessible so we can safely reproduce and test the concern.

  • Clear access to the affected system
  • Shore power when applicable
  • Charged RV batteries
  • Water and other needed utilities
  • Keys and remotes available
  • Secure pets and clear personal belongings
3

We Come to Your RV

MilTech RV is mobile, so we perform many services where the RV is already parked at an approved service location.

Mobile appointments use an arrival window. Travel conditions and the diagnostic needs of earlier appointments can affect our arrival time.

4

We Diagnose the Problem

When appropriate, we reproduce the concern, inspect the affected system, perform testing, and work to identify the actual cause before recommending parts.

5

You Authorize the Work

We explain what we found, discuss the recommended next step, parts requirements, and anticipated labor before additional repair work is performed.

6

Repair & Follow-Up

After authorized work is completed, we test the affected system when possible, explain what was repaired, and discuss anything you should monitor going forward.

Diagnosis First

We Start With the Problem — Not a Parts List.

The same symptom can have several possible causes. Diagnostic testing helps us determine what actually failed before recommending a repair or ordering parts.

Service Call

$75

Standard mobile service-call fee.

First Diagnostic Hour

$150

Initial diagnostic testing and troubleshooting.

Additional Labor

$150/hr

Additional authorized diagnostic or repair labor.

Diagnosis and repair are not always the same service.

Some problems require diagnostic time before an accurate repair estimate can be prepared. If additional diagnostic time is needed, we will communicate that before proceeding.

No Surprise Repair Work

You Stay in Control of the Repair Decision.

Once we have enough information to recommend a repair, we'll explain the findings and next steps. Additional repair work is performed only after customer authorization.

What We’ll Discuss

  • What testing revealed
  • Likely cause of the failure
  • Recommended repair
  • Available options when appropriate
  • Parts requirements
  • Anticipated additional labor
  • Whether a return visit is required
If Parts Are Needed

Not Every Repair Can Be Completed on the First Visit.

Some repairs require model-specific components, manufacturer research, warranty authorization, or parts that are not practical to stock on a mobile service vehicle.

When that happens, we'll document what is needed, research or order the appropriate parts, and coordinate the next step or return appointment.

What Happens Next?

  • We document the diagnosis and required repair
  • Correct parts are identified or researched
  • Pricing or an updated estimate is provided when applicable
  • Parts are ordered after required authorization
  • A return appointment is coordinated when the parts are available
Sometimes One Problem Reveals Another

RV Systems Can Be More Complicated Than the Original Symptom.

During diagnosis or repair, we may discover additional failed components, previous repairs, wiring issues, water damage, inaccessible conditions, incorrect parts, or other concerns that could not reasonably be identified before testing began.

If the scope changes, we stop and communicate.

We will explain the new findings and discuss the recommended next step before performing additional work outside the authorized scope.
