Diagnosis Comes Before Repair When the Cause Is Unknown
Diagnostic Authorization
By authorizing diagnostic service, the customer authorizes MilTech RV to inspect, test, and troubleshoot the reported problem within the approved diagnostic time.
Diagnostic time is billable whether or not the customer chooses to proceed with the repair and whether or not the problem can be fully resolved during the initial visit.
Some concerns may require additional time, manufacturer support, parts research, special equipment, or a return visit before a repair can be completed.
Diagnostic Authorization Does Not Authorize Unlimited Repair Work
Authorization to diagnose a problem is separate from authorization to perform additional repairs.
If the scope, labor, or parts cost increases beyond what the customer has approved, MilTech RV will communicate the new findings and obtain authorization before proceeding.
You Stay in Control of Additional Work
Repair Authorization
Additional repair work is performed only after the customer approves the recommended scope and expected charges.
When new conditions are discovered during diagnosis or repair, MilTech RV may pause work and provide an updated recommendation before proceeding.
Special-Order Parts
Special-order, non-returnable, or job-specific parts may require payment before ordering.
Customers may be responsible for shipping, restocking, return, or cancellation charges imposed by the supplier when a part is ordered specifically for their repair.
Customer-Supplied Parts
Customer-supplied parts may be installed when appropriate and compatible with the RV and repair.
MilTech RV does not warranty customer-supplied parts or materials and is not responsible for delays, added labor, damage, or compatibility issues caused by an incorrect, incomplete, defective, or incompatible supplied component.
Manufacturer & Warranty Parts
Manufacturer warranty coverage is determined by the manufacturer or warranty administrator, not MilTech RV.
Any deductible, non-covered service-call fee, shipping charge, diagnostic cost, or other customer responsibility remains due according to the applicable warranty contract and MilTech RV service terms.
Workmanship Coverage on Qualifying Repairs
What the Labor Warranty Covers
MilTech RV provides a 30-day limited labor warranty on qualifying workmanship performed by MilTech RV.
Any workmanship concern should be reported as soon as reasonably possible and within 30 calendar days of the original completed repair.
Opportunity to Inspect
MilTech RV must be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect the original work before another person or company alters, repairs, removes, or replaces the affected component.
Work performed by another party before MilTech RV has an opportunity to inspect may limit or void applicable labor-warranty coverage.
What Is Not Covered
- Customer-supplied parts or materials
- Manufacturer defects or unrelated component failures
- New failures outside the original repair scope
- Damage caused by misuse, impact, weather, neglect, or improper operation
- Repairs altered by another person or provider before inspection by MilTech RV
- Normal wear and tear
Please report any immediately observable concern with completed work as soon as reasonably possible. Qualifying workmanship claims remain subject to MilTech RV’s 30-Day Limited Labor Warranty.
Please Give Us Time to Reassign Your Appointment
Less Than 24 Hours' Notice
A cancellation or rescheduling request made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a $75 cancellation fee.
Same-Day Cancellations, No-Shows & Inaccessible RVs
Same-day cancellations, no-shows, or appointments where the RV is inaccessible may be charged the applicable service-call fee and any travel or other non-recoverable costs already incurred.
A Safe Work Area Is Required
Customer Must Provide Safe Access
The RV and affected system must be reasonably accessible for inspection and service.
Customers should remove personal items from the work area, secure pets, provide keys or remotes when required, and make necessary utilities available when appropriate.
Unsafe Conditions
MilTech RV may stop or decline work when site conditions, weather, electrical hazards, unstable equipment, aggressive animals, hazardous materials, restricted access, or other conditions create an unreasonable safety risk.
Location Permission
Customers are responsible for confirming that outside mobile service is permitted at their campground, RV park, resort, storage facility, HOA, dealership, or other service location.
Documentation Helps With Service, Warranty & Training
Service Documentation
MilTech RV may photograph or record the RV, affected components, diagnostic readings, repair condition, parts, and completed work for documentation, warranty support, estimate preparation, training, or service records.
Marketing & Educational Use
Photos or video may also be used for educational or marketing purposes when appropriate. Customers may opt out of marketing use by notifying MilTech RV.
Reasonable efforts will be made to avoid publishing personally identifying information unless permission has been provided.
A Successful Service Visit Is a Shared Process
Accurate Information
Customers should provide accurate RV information, service history, symptoms, previous repairs, modifications, and relevant warranty or insurance information when known.
Completion & Inspection
Customers are encouraged to review the completed work and raise any immediately observable concern as soon as reasonably possible.
Qualifying workmanship issues remain subject to the 30-Day Limited Labor Warranty described above.
Payment Responsibility
The customer remains responsible for charges not covered by a warranty administrator, insurer, manufacturer, or third party unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Customer Authorization
By approving service, estimates, work orders, or repair authorization, the customer confirms that they are authorized to approve work on the RV and agrees to the applicable MilTech RV service terms and charges.
Limitation of Liability & Hold Harmless
Limitation of Liability
MilTech RV is not responsible for hidden, pre-existing, intermittent, inaccessible, or unrelated defects that are outside the authorized repair scope or could not reasonably be identified during the service performed.
MilTech RV is also not responsible for consequential losses such as travel delays, campground costs, lost use, lost income, lodging, towing, or other indirect expenses except where required by law.
Hold Harmless
The customer agrees to disclose known hazards, prior damage, modifications, and unsafe conditions and to provide a reasonably safe work environment.
Where permitted by law, the customer agrees to hold MilTech RV harmless for damage or loss caused by pre-existing defects, hidden conditions, customer-supplied parts, unsafe site conditions, or work outside the authorized service scope.
These policies are intended to explain service expectations and do not waive rights or obligations that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
