Water intrusion/moisture inspection

Stop leaks before they become expensive repairs. Our RV Water Intrusion / Moisture Inspection is designed to track down hidden moisture, soft spots, and potential leak paths that can damage your roof, walls, floors, and slide systems over time.

We take a detailed, system-by-system approach to help protect your RV’s structure, resale value, and your peace of mind.

With MilTech RV, an NRVIA Certified Technician/Inspector comes to wherever the RV is located—home, storage lot, or dealership—and performs a detailed, system-by-system inspection. You get a clear digital report you can share with potential buyers.

Typical Pricing

Level / Type of Inspection

Basic / Visual Check (roof seals, exterior seams, quick leak-look)

Standard / Moderate Inspection (includes most exterior + some interior checks)

Full / Comprehensive Inspection (including seals, roof, windows, slide-outs, interior, moisture meter, detailed report/photo documentation)

High-end / Large Motorhome (e.g., Class A / big rigs / lots of slide-outs) / Premium Package

Typical Price Range

$150 – $300

$300 – $600

$800 – $1,200+

$1,200 – $1,600+ (sometimes with optional fluid-analysis or extra checks)

* These ranges are approximate and reflect what many inspectors across the U.S. are charging (or reporting) for RV inspections. The actual price may vary depending on RV size, complexity (slide-outs, number of systems), travel distance for the inspector, depth of inspection, and whether add-ons (moisture meter, photo report, fluid sampling, etc.) are included.

What Drives Price Variations

  • Size & Class of RV: Larger rigs (Class A, big fifth-wheels, multi-slide travel trailers) take more time, so inspections cost more.

  • Scope of Inspection: A full “moisture & structural seal check + interior/ exterior + slideouts + documentation/photos” will cost more than a simple roof & seal visual check.

  • Inspector Credentials & Detail Level: Certified inspectors (e.g., through NRVIA) who provide detailed reports, photos, and moisture-meter checks tend to charge more.

  • Travel, Add-ons & Extras: If the inspector has to travel far, or you add fluid sampling, detailed reports, or extra checks, the cost will rise.
