Service Call Fee

To secure your appointment, a Service Call Fee is required at the time of scheduling.

The Service Call Fee starts at $75 per hour, based on your location within the Des Moines service area.

  • Prepayment is accepted via:

    • Credit Card

    • PayPal

    • Venmo

    • Zelle

  • Once payment is received, your appointment is officially confirmed, and a digital receipt is sent.


This fee covers the technician’s travel to your location and confirms your reserved service time.

✔️ Prepayment ensures your spot is locked in
✔️ Fully applied toward your final invoice
✔️ Non-refundable if the customer cancels within 24 hours of the appointment
✔️ If no work is performed upon arrival, the Service Call Fee still applies
✔️ If additional diagnostic time or repairs are needed, all costs will be discussed before work begins

Mobile RV service requires planning and travel. Prepayment:

  • Allows us to efficiently schedule routes

  • Ensures fair use of technician time

  • Keeps overall service pricing lower for everyone

Standard Hourly Rate

At MilTech Mobile RV Repair & Inspection, we provide expert mobile RV services right at your location—saving you time and hassle. Our hourly labor rate is designed to offer transparent, fair, and competitive pricing for professional repairs, maintenance, and inspections.

Standard Labor Rate: $125 per hour

✔️ Minimum Charge: 1-hour billing minimum applies to all service visits

✔️ Billing Increments: After the first hour, billing continues in 15-minute increments

✔️ Additional Fees:

✔️ Service Call/Trip Fee: Based on mileage and service area

✔️ Parts & Materials: Charged separately at market rates

✔️ Emergency or After-Hours Rates: May apply outside normal business hours

Emergency Call Policy

What Qualifies as an Emergency?

Emergency service is reserved for issues that pose safety risks or cause essential RV systems to fail. Examples include:

✔️ No heat or air conditioning during extreme weather

✔️ Electrical failures (sparks, smoke, burning smell)

✔️ Propane or gas leaks

✔️ Major water leaks (freshwater or sewage)

✔️ Malfunctioning slides that prevent safe operation

✔️ Immediate power loss impacting livability

✔️ Minimum Charge: 1-hour billing minimum applies to all service visits


Availability

Emergency service is dependent on technician availability and may not always be guaranteed. Calls received outside regular business hours will be attended based on urgency, location, and technician readiness.


Emergency Service Call Fee

An Emergency Call Fee will apply in addition to the travel and hourly labor rate: $200 Per Hour

 

 

Warranty and Liability Disclaimer

 

Warranty Disclaimer:
MilTech Mobile RV Repair & Inspection (“MilTech”) stands by the workmanship and parts provided during service. Unless otherwise specified in writing, MilTech offers a limited 90-day warranty on labor from the date of service completion and honors manufacturer warranties on new parts installed.
This warranty does not cover:

✔️ Damage resulting from misuse, neglect, accident, or natural disasters

✔️ Issues caused by third-party work or unauthorized alterations

✔️ Pre-existing conditions or components not directly serviced

MilTech does not guarantee the performance or longevity of used parts or customer-supplied parts and is not liable for associated failures.

Liability Disclaimer:
MilTech Mobile RV Repair & Inspection is not responsible for:

✔️ Damage caused by improper usage of the RV or failure to maintain systems

✔️ Damage or loss of personal property or business income due to RV downtime

✔️ Issues discovered after service that are unrelated to repairs performed

By hiring MilTech, you agree that the company, its technicians, and affiliates shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages arising from services provided.

Customer Responsibility:
It is the customer’s responsibility to:

✔️ Disclose any known issues or prior repairs

✔️ Obtain manufacturer or extended warranty approvals if required

✔️ Maintain adequate insurance coverage

MilTech reserves the right to refuse service if unsafe conditions exist.

Your privacy matters to us. MILTECH RV does not sell, share, or distribute any customer information collected through our services or website. All online orders are processed through a secure, encrypted server to protect your personal data.

For additional security, all credit card information is stored on a computer that is not connected to the Internet and cannot be accessed by any network or modem.

Our standard business policies apply to all transactions made through our website, and we remain fully committed to safeguarding your personal information at every step.
