MilTech RV Expanded Short Notices

These notices are written to be placed near the bottom of the related MilTech RV service page. They explain the most important policy points without making the customer read the full legal page before understanding the service.

RV Inspection Page Notice

Before You Schedule an Inspection

MilTech RV inspections are designed to give you a detailed picture of the RV's observable condition at the time of inspection. We test and inspect accessible systems based on the inspection package selected.

Unless your inspection agreement says otherwise, the inspection is visual and non-invasive. That means we do not remove walls, floors, sealed panels, roof membranes, insulation, or other major components simply to look for hidden damage.

Some conditions may not be visible during an inspection, including hidden water damage, intermittent electrical problems, internal component failures, problems that only occur while driving, or conditions concealed by another party.

An inspection is not a guarantee that the RV will never need repairs. It is intended to give you better information so you can make your own purchase, maintenance, or ownership decision.

See our Legal, Policies & Disclosures page for additional details.

RV Education Page Notice

About Our RV Education

MilTech RV educational content is designed to help RV owners better understand how their RV works, what maintenance is important, what warning signs to watch for, and when it may be time to call a technician.

Because RVs and components vary by manufacturer and model, general educational information may not apply exactly to your RV.

Always follow the instructions and safety information provided by your RV and component manufacturers.

Electrical systems, batteries, propane, generators, roofs, slides, leveling systems, and other RV systems can create serious hazards if serviced incorrectly. If you are unsure how to safely perform a procedure, stop and seek qualified help.

See our Legal, Policies & Disclosures page for additional details.

RV Tank Rescue Page Notice

What to Know Before Tank Cleaning

Every holding tank is different. The results and amount of work required depend on the tank's condition, how long waste has been present, previous maintenance, plumbing layout, valve condition, and whether there are severe blockages or foreign objects.

Standard tank cleaning is focused on cleaning the tank and related accessible plumbing. It does not automatically include repairs to broken valves, damaged plumbing, leaking fittings, or other failed components.

If we discover an additional repair need, we will explain what we found and discuss the additional work with you before proceeding when authorization is required.

See our Legal, Policies & Disclosures page for additional details.

Phone and Video Consultation Page Notice

What a Remote Consultation Can and Cannot Do

A phone or video consultation can help you understand a problem, review photos, talk through troubleshooting steps, identify possible causes, and decide what to do next.

Because we are not physically at your RV, we cannot directly test voltages, pressures, temperatures, wiring, hidden components, leaks, or other conditions unless you are able to safely provide those readings or images.

For that reason, remote advice may be preliminary. Some concerns still require an on-site inspection or diagnostic appointment before the cause can be confirmed.

See our Legal, Policies & Disclosures page for additional details.

Service Request / Contact Page Notice

Before You Submit Your Service Request

The more information you provide, the better we can review your request before the appointment.

Please include:

  • A clear description of the problem
  • When the problem started
  • Anything that recently changed
  • Previous repairs related to the problem
  • Your RV year, make, and model
  • Component model or serial numbers when available
  • Photos or short videos when they help show the concern

Submitting the form does not automatically confirm an appointment. MilTech RV will review the request and confirm availability.

Any estimate provided before diagnosis is based on the information available at that time. Additional conditions discovered during testing or inspection may change the repair recommendation or cost.

See our Legal, Policies & Disclosures page for additional details.

Estimate Page or Estimate Footer Notice

About This Estimate

This estimate is based on the information currently available. RV problems sometimes involve more than one component, and additional conditions may not become visible until testing, disassembly, or diagnosis begins.

If we discover additional work outside the approved estimate, we will explain the findings and request authorization before proceeding when additional authorization is required.

Customer-Supplied Parts Notice

If You Supply the Part

MilTech RV may install customer-supplied parts when appropriate. Because we did not sell or supply the part, we cannot provide a parts warranty on it.

If the part is incorrect, defective, incompatible, incomplete, damaged, or missing required hardware, additional labor may be needed to diagnose, remove, reinstall, or replace it.

Any warranty on the supplied part remains between you and the manufacturer, retailer, or seller.

Affiliate / Product Recommendation Notice

Product Recommendation & Affiliate Disclosure

MilTech RV may recommend products, parts, tools, accessories, or RV equipment that we believe may be useful to RV owners.

Some product links may be affiliate links. If you purchase through one of those links, MilTech RV may receive a commission, referral payment, discount, credit, or other benefit.

A recommendation does not guarantee that a product fits every RV. Before purchasing, confirm the correct model, dimensions, voltage, ratings, connection type, and manufacturer requirements for your RV.

Warranty Service Page Notice

About Warranty Work

MilTech RV can assist with diagnosis, documentation, photographs, estimates, and approved repairs when working with manufacturers or extended warranty companies.

The warranty provider makes the final decision about what is covered. MilTech RV does not control claim approval, deductibles, reimbursement amounts, parts availability, shipping, or processing time.

Some charges, such as a mobile service-call fee, travel, or diagnostic time, may not be covered even when a repair is approved.

General Service Page Notice

What to Expect From Mobile RV Service

MilTech RV comes to your RV so you do not have to take it to a dealership for many common repairs and diagnostic concerns.

Because we are working on-site, access to the RV, power, water, propane, campground rules, weather, and available working space can affect what can be tested or repaired during the visit.

Some repairs can be completed in one visit. Others may require parts, additional diagnosis, manufacturer support, or a return appointment.

We will explain what we find, what we recommend, and what the next step is so you can make an informed decision before additional work is performed.

Technician Safety Notice

Safe Work Area Required

MilTech RV technicians may be working around electricity, propane, batteries, roofs, moving equipment, traffic, weather, and other hazards. For everyone's safety, the technician may pause, delay, or decline work if the work area is unsafe.

Please help us maintain a safe work area by:

  • Securing pets before the technician arrives
  • Keeping children and bystanders away from the active work area
  • Providing clear access to the RV and the component being serviced
  • Removing personal items that block access
  • Following technician instructions when slides, awnings, jacks, electrical power, propane, or other systems must be secured or shut down
  • Letting us know about known electrical, propane, structural, or other safety concerns before work begins

Severe weather, unsafe roof conditions, exposed electrical hazards, suspected gas leaks, unstable RV support, unsafe roadside conditions, or other hazards may require the appointment to be delayed, rescheduled, or referred to another facility.

MilTech RV will not knowingly continue work when the technician believes the conditions create an unreasonable safety risk.

See our Legal, Policies & Disclosures page for additional details.
